During the course of your stay, you’ll find all of the amenities expected in Northern Wisconsin luxury hotels, the great room and upper mezzanine areas provide a cozy setting for guests to visit and entertain. Visitors young and old enjoy the nostalgia of “playing” a hit tune from long ago on the antique player piano. Others are intrigued by the antiques and Native American artwork that decorate the lodge.
In the wooded areas surrounding the Lodge, guests can enjoy native wild flower gardens, private sitting areas, a garden terrace, an open camp fire area and a pavilion large enough for group picnics.
The upper mezzanine, overlooking the great room, with a good view out the front picture windows is a favorite “hang out” for our guests. (Yes, we do encourage loitering!) On the staircase leading to this overlook is a mural size painting of a family of bears painted by Deanne De La Ronde, one of Wisconsin’s premier wildlife and animal portrait artists. The mezzanine floor also has a comfortable sitting area that makes a nice place to play board games, read and visit with friends.
All deluxe rooms and luxury suites are equipped with satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer, toiletries including shampoo, quality Sealy® Posturpedic mattresses, premium linens and “customer acclaimed” oversized bath towels.
Breakfast pastries, muffins, coffee, tea, juices and more are served from the continental breakfast kitchen from 7 to 10 am daily.
All common areas and guest rooms are 100% smoke free.
Love the outdoors? Our pavilion, picnic area, grills and campfire area is free for the use of our guests. We even supply complimentary firewood! Grilling tools can be purchased at the Front Desk.
